Continuing the Legacy of Violet Oaklander

Violet Oaklander provided a blend of theory and experience to train therapists in her model of Gestalt Play Therapy.

Karen Fried offers training, supervision/consultation and presentations on how to use the Oaklander Model in your own work with children, adolescents, and their families.

All offerings continue Violet's tone of fun, educational and experiential training for therapists featuring a variety of materials including drawing, puppets, clay, sand tray, picture cards and more!

We welcome attendees with different experience levels, coming from all over the world.

I can’t praise Dr. Karen Fried enough! She is intelligent, creative, warm and an incredible person. She has trained therapists to do my work in Europe and here in the United States. I believe it would be a privilege for anyone to participate in her training.
