Transition to Life After A Pandemic: Fun, Creative, In-Person, or Virtual Activities to Help Students Process the Pandemic and Prepare for Post-Pandemic Learning

Karen Fried PsyD LMFT

The pandemic altered life and education as we knew it. Parents, students, and educators adapted as well as they could during this unprecedented time. We learned how to Zoom, social distance, and organize break-out rooms. Families and schools have changed daily routines. We created a New Normal as we dealt with the pandemic. Now it's time to plan for the future. Life as we knew it will resume, but it will not be the same. We have changed. The activities in this workbook are designed to help children and families transition out of the pandemic and into the New New Normal. Based on the work of Dr. Violet Oaklander each exercise includes a guided creative activity that allows students to explore and express their thoughts about the future.
